Inspired by the Beasley award-nominated ME & EU project where creatives where asked to respond to Brexit in their own ways and styles, I created my own series of European Union flags using the Emoji language which dominates how we communicate.

Using Emoji symbols which are opposites from one another such as happy/sad, life/death, sunny/rainy and so on. These opposites reference the idea that the UK is now seen as negative and inferior to the EU following its decision to leave.
